Bug Eyes

I was so excited when I found these at Michael's today that I had to share.  How cool will these be when teaching about insects and their compound eyes?  They were $3 each which was a little pricy so I only bought four of them but Michael's has a 15% off total purchase for teachers (so that made me want to do the happy dance).  Anyways - Deanna Jump has an AWESOME Insect Unit that I did with my class last year and she actually has a page in this unit for the kids to record what they see when looking through insect eyes.  If you are interested in her unit, you can go to this link:  Deanna Jump's Insect Unit.
